Former California gubernatorial candidate and porn star Mary Carey will cover “The Sexy Side of Politics” in a new segment on her VividRadio.com “Happy Hour” show. The new segment will be debuting today during her show, which airs from 12-1pm PT.
“Mary is definitely the most political porn star in the history of the adult industry,” says VividRadio.com general manager Farrell Hirsch. “When she ran for governor of California in 2003 as an independent it was a bit of a lark for her, but when she wound up with a credible showing (10th out of 136 candidates) it influenced her to take a stronger interest in politics ”
Mary Carey’s coverage of the political scene leading up to the presidential election should be fun and insightful listening as she is admittedly strong willed and opinionated.
“Politics is all about power and so is sex,” says Mary. “I’m intrigued with the current presidential candidates and with so much television exposure for them, I think I’ve had a chance to get a feel for how effective each of them would be in bed. And, yes, this could be an indicator of how they would lead our country. This will be just one focus of my segments.”
This year’s race has been such a circus so far. It should be interesting to get Mary’s take on things so far!
